Do you think most married military men cheat while their ship docks? How do spouses deal? Read on..?

My hubby's friend who just got back from docking in Saipan said that every single one of the married men that were with him all cheated on their wives. He went into detail about several trips to ';massage parlors'; that they would talk about and strip clubs where the strippers did more than just strip if ya know what I mean. My husband is in the Navy and I trust him but I'm sure all of those women trust their husbands also. Navy guys have always had a rep. about this too. We have not been through deployments yet but I am really dreading this after all I have heard because once the guys are out of the country, no one has to know what goes on but them. I hate to say this but I am starting to wonder if this is the life for me because I am fragile from the past and afraid. It is also just natural to worry for me too. Has anyone felt this way or been in a similar position?Do you think most married military men cheat while their ship docks? How do spouses deal? Read on..?
Prior Navy here. Not all military men cheat, however...the vast majority do if they are overseas and separated from their spouse for a substantial amount of time. I've seen it. I've been there. I know. It was not uncommon at all for a married man (or woman) to openly (but quietly) advertise for a ';right now'; companion/lover. On the flip side, military spouses aren't exactly known for their fidelity either.Do you think most married military men cheat while their ship docks? How do spouses deal? Read on..?

probably he's overthere doing his business (his job) %26amp; ur overhere thinking he might be cheating...





I'm bearly in the process on training for the test to join the Army idk if i'll like my someday ';husband'; to think that way of me =/

I'm in the Marine Corps, and I can guarantee alot of them cheat, but not all. I'm not sure what the point of marrying is if you're going to cheat. I'm sorry, but I hear ALOT of gay jokes about Navy, I'd be more concerned towards guys...nah just kidding...maybe...
I think 99% do but they wouldn't class it as cheating, to them it's just using the available facilities. It's just a man thing.
trust is very important to keep a nice relationship w your hasband .so if you trust and love him i think you dont have to check on him especialy if you feel that he loves you.
Yeah we were in a pub when this ship docked and all the guys who stormed in all asked same question not where is yahoo answers but was WHERE ARE THE WOMEN
not all men are cheaters...but men in the service, there is a lot of stress and peer pressure





these are not normal circumstances


you just tell your man if he cheated it would kill you, the girl who is staying clean and there for him when he gets back


You tell him if he cheats wrap it! And condoms don't 100% protect against herpes and warts and most don't show symptoms unless tested!





You may have a good an...pray...don't put all eggs in one basket. Go to church or group meditation or other clubs and have some special friends just in case!
you trust your husband, and yet you don't trust him??? how does that work??? either you do or you don't...





he's far away from you, he'll be tempted... and that is the problem... whether the temptation is too much, or he gets too drunk or whatever...





why not save yourself a whole load of hassle and speak to him about your insecurity and paranoia...





if you are comfortable in your relationship and are mature enough, you'll say to him... ';fine, if you are tempted, go for it... BUT, make sure you are protected!!!';...





but too many women believe in sexual ownership and try to CONTROL their husbands...
no spouse deals with cheating i do believe a lot of man including navy men see sex different than there wives it is more about a physical thing only





the most important thing is to concentrate on the love between you and him that special bond do not go too much into the fear thing as you will create distance and pain between the 2 of you.





remember this if you have great bond and are taking care of yourself he dose not know what you are up to back home as you do not know what he is up overseas my advice keep the trust the love and the loving communication flowing
