Dems, how does it feel that you can't be hypocritical since you have no firm moral code?

Ok, Sanford had an affair. Big deal, he's not the first or the last. Why then are you dems going nuts over it? Is it because you have no moral code so when a Republican makes a mistake you gleefully attack what you deem hypocritical? You're following right in line with ';Rules for Radicals'; when you're told to bash anyone with a conscience because dems don't have any boundaries or lines that are taboo.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say more than half of everyone in DC has probably cheated on their spouse. It's not a disqualifier from serving; it's just a character flaw. Clinton had ';bimbo eruption'; squads ready to stop any new stories from his many lovers; he hasn't stopped either according to secret service insiders.Dems, how does it feel that you can't be hypocritical since you have no firm moral code?
it's their ace in the hole (family values not being 'their' thing) and they only play it against their competition.Dems, how does it feel that you can't be hypocritical since you have no firm moral code?
Maybe it's because conservatives run on a ';moral family values'; platform, so when they commit adultery, it's extra hypocritical. As for not having ';firm moral code';, it's not like I'm searching for morality and can't find it or something. I live my life the way I see fit and I try not to hurt anybody else, and I sleep at night just fine, so obviously it doesn't bother me. You have to remember that not everyone is as backwards as you are.
That's an erroneous assumption... I believe I speak for many who do have a moral code that we use as a guide in our own lives... we just don't expect everyone else to follow our own personal moral code, nor do we clamor for legislation based upon our morality. It's not about the affair, it's about the hypocrisy.
We have a moral code it's just not monolithic and more importantly we don't try to impose it on everyone or make it into law

We aren't the ones going around proclaiming we are such angels and trying to force everyone else into being one while at the same time behaving in exactly the opposite manner
We do have a moral code. What bothers me most about Sanford is he deserted his position and the job he was elected to do, leaving his state in a precarious position. He also used tax payer money to pay for his little tryst.
We all have moral codes, dear. We just don't try to legislate morality like you do. We believe in freedom and liberty for ALL, not just the people we agree with.

The Republicans who impeached Bill Clinton didn't agree. WHAT'S GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER.
The repugs are hypocritical since they preach family values. Understand? We have more values than you and we are not hypocritical.
You obviously answered your own question in your second paragraph.
Things can change. You guys use to be the standard bearers.
