Get over it people. It sucks but its not the end of the world! And to everyone confused about, '; can I ever trust him/her again?'; No one on can answer that but you. If you want the relationship find out why the affair happened. They generally don't happen for no reason. Either decide that the relationship is worth the hard work or leave! And if you decide that it is, put in the necessary work to make sure that he/she never lets an affair happen again. Its really that simple. Sure sure there will need to be communication between the two of you but don't spend the next 6 months arguing and rehashing the ordeal. Life sucks, marriage is hard...deal with it or don't do it at all. And to all the people out there that say, ';once a cheater, always a cheater.'; How the hell would you know that??? Sure there may be some habitual cheaters out there but for the most part i don't think so. Those that have been cheated on...don't let everyone else convince you that you should bail on your cheating spouse. You know what the best thing is for you. One thing that i've learned is sometimes you just need to be still and quiet and calm so that things can be figured out in a rational, peaceful manner that you wont live to regret. Good luck everyone. Why are there so many people whinning over and over again about being cheated on?
There's another side to this: Many people want permanence in all things. They want stock investments to make money every day, jobs to bring frequent raises and vacation time, love relationships to be happy, happy, happy arrangements made in Heaven. Life doesn't work that way but getting people to accept their own frailties is another bit of reality you'll have to accept.
It so easy to pin the blame on this donkey or that but in the end, this is about tolerance.

For the guys: Don't spend no money on a girl until u find out she's not a cheater. So good luck with that. A cheater is a waste, everything u invest into the relationship is useless, so stay single.
I'm sure you'll just be a happy ************ when you see someone you love with ******* another person. Its hard on people, lighten up.
AMEN, darling. Everyone should have as many relationship as they can maintain, and should be up-front about it. Everyone will always like and/or care about more than one person, and they should. The whole idea that anything else is 'cheating' is brought to you by 'religion', in which people make the ridiculous vow to 'forsake all others' (which is 180 degrees from Jesus' admonition, 'Love Thy Neighbor').
Tell your loved ones they can have as many other relationships as they want, and you reserve the same right...Presto, nobody can 'cheat'.
POLYAMORY ROCKS! God bless/good luck...KK
If ';its'; really taken care of at home by the lover!
the other person, should have no physical reason to cheat!
But, taking care of your partners sensual/sexual needs may
take some time and effort!
But well worth it,
It's like playing n instrument in the band, the more you practice
the better the music, and try different music too,
not the same ole tune time after time after time after time!
GOOD SEX, IS BETTER THAN GOOD FOOD!!!
