Don't Ask Don't Tell part 2?

Some people in my first question were saying the policy is to protect me. Ok. Here it goes.





How can it protect me if I get harrassed by all my fellow soldiers calling me names.





If I file a complaint then the whole IG and EO department start investigating. At the end the harasser will be dealt with maybe a punishment of Extra Duty or just Counceld...rarely they will get chapter out.





Second after all this, a whole new investigation will start, if they find out i'm gay they will UCMJ and chapter me out.





So how is this policy helping at all?





I've seen heterosexual people here who are married and cheat on their spouses, others who are leaders sleeping with their soldiers. There are regulations on this and the violators will be punish...but in most of all cases nothing is done.





So why punish us for doing nothing wrong?





I personally dont have to tell anyone in the army, but they are many others in the military who are sufferring because of this policy.Don't Ask Don't Tell part 2?

You're right, ';DADTDP'; is NOT created to protect you at all...it's there to protect the ego's of the ';old boys network.';


The policy has actually allowed more service members to be discharged under it's guidelines than EVER before in the entire History of our Volunteer Services.Don't Ask Don't Tell part 2?
